The make up vanity has got be one of the most iconic pieces of furniture since the silver screen made it so famous. Just picture those beautiful Hollywood starlets in their silk night gowns sitting cross legged on their vanity stool as they apply their make-up.

Every woman should have a makeup vanity desk. It's her special place, her sanctuary where she can work her magic and transform herself from a plain Jane to a princess. As well as having  a grooming function the makeup table can also assist in helping to enhance the design of the room.

However, each item can be purchased separately enabling you to add your own personal design touches. If you have a small bedroom with limited floor space then, you can opt for a corner bedroom makeup vanity. However, it is important to point out that their will be less table surface and storage space to store your cosmetics and jewelry.

If you have limited space and lots of cosmetics then look for a slim line makeup vanities with drawers. These space saving designs will still give you room and storage to put your cosmetics and jewelry boxes. You can also utilize the wall space around the mirror & bench by attaching small shelves or organizer racks to hold your extra perfumes and lotions.

Style

In terms of style you have plenty to choose from. The style or design of your makeup and vanity set should co-ordinate with the existing decor and color scheme of the room. Applying the perfect face takes time therefore, it is important that you are sitting comfortable to ensure you create that magic. Choose a seat that is comfortably padded and with a table that has smooth lines and curves so that it will be easy on your elbows.
